Exciting Discovery....

Now im not sure whether its just me being naive but I never heard of Crown Brushes until I heard it from a guru on you tube. So I went on to the site only last night and OMG the brushes are amazing , not only are they cheap but theyare exactly the same as ones sold at Costal Scents.

For people who are not familiar with this company , I believe it is based in the USA it sells really good quality brushes for very affordable prices and I have always wanted to order from them but the shipping is ridiculously priced and I just can't justify paying nearly double the product for it to be delivered to me so I've just got by thanks to GOSH and MAC mini brush sets. But now I feel there is alight at the end of the tunnel as I can now order the brushes and the delivery is only 4.99 wow..very pleased about that.

So as I was looking at the site and doing some virtual spending of next months paycheck I noticed a button saying pallettes....... and guess what , Not only do they sell the brushes that are sold at costal scents but they also sell some of the pallettes to !!! by this point I was tripping I've always wanted the 88 shimmer and matte pallette but recently when I've tried to order on costal scents they shipping to England hasnt been avaliabl:( So all in all I had a very prodcutive night!!!

heres the link for the UK site.... http://www.crownbrush.co.uk/index.html

and some pictures for you of all the pallettes they sell , no doubt it will grow (this is me being optimistic)
The first one being a proffessional Corrector pallette, then the famous 88 shimmer pallettes, and lastly the 78 pallete.

I diddnt include a pic of the 88 matte pallette becuase lets face it it looks exactly the same as the shimmer in photos ..so you get the idea:) oh and these aren't mine these photos are from the site so all credit goes to Crownbrushes.co.uk

Up and Coming MAC Collections

Now I just have to make one thing clear....... I heart MAC.....And in my world this is love, shallow I no but its good to have a hobbie , even if it is an expensive one.

So im not sure if this is legal but im getting this info from another site so I dont no if ill be posting photos , I might just give you the link becuase I'd rather not get shut down yet its only my second post. Ok Im not quite sure when these will be launching in the UK becuase we are quite annoyingly behind the USA, But its does mean that you get to watch everyone elses haul videos and posts before buying which can help you greatly decide what is for you ( FYI my fave you tube channel for this kind of thing is PURSEBUZZ she alwasy gives litle reveiws of all products in new collections).
*Graphic Garden , I think this launches in July in the USA , so does that mean august for us ?!? If so its the fist thursday in Agust , as this is when MAC collections always launch in the UK( I learnt that from Lollipop26 go check out her blog )
I love the mini brushes their so useful fro travelling with and they are actually V.Good quality , I recomend all theses sets to beginners in MAC( as I was in november). As individul brushes are expensive and should be looked at as an investment, also the shadows are good value as are the lip sets. I think this collection is very Good for beginners becuse with the shadows if you get a pallettes then it is easy to buy more individual shadows one at a tome becuse you can create whole looks , instead of buying one and a time and not being able to do much with it.

*Naked Honey, I'm very excited about this as it is my favourite scent..ever( very much in love with "Honey I washed the kids" soap from lush).I wonder if the lipglasses will smell like Honey rather than the patent MAC Vanilla scent.......hmmm
*Baby Bloom , I think this launches in August. This collections consist of tinted moisturisers with SPF15 and Tinted Lip Balms. I dont have pictures or a list but If you want more Info on any of theses collections then Go to Temptalia as this is where I got the pictures from !!

My Favourite Mascaras

I could probably spend 10 minutes putting on mascara in the morning , I personally think that your eyes are one of the most important things to get right( that and foundation application) . Even if you not wearing much else if your eyes are done properly you can look stunning. I'm not saying you should apply heaps of the stuff because some people can get away with not wearing any at all . Sadly I am not one of those people(just my opinion). I am easily sold into gimmicky mascaras and I often follow the crowd but I have to say so far it has paid off well.

So my favourite mascaras are:
1) MAC Plush Lash, This is an amazing mascara not only does it lengthen but it thickens aswell and it seprates your lashes beautifully, this is all down to the shape of the brush. What I usually do is start with the thi end right at the base of my lashes , wiggle the wand , roll and pull it up so I finish on the other ,thick, side, I hope that made sense LOL. The bristles are dense and the formulation is able to hold a curl. Finally I have to add the amazing price which is around £10, you cant beat that.

2) Dior Show Blackout, The pigmentation of this Mascara is amazingly black yet I find that it can clump easily. The wand is much thinner then PlushLash, so it does get right in to the base of my lashes and lengthens. I usually use this in the evenings and paired with think cat eyeliner it is a stunning combo.

3) Max Factor False lash effect, I only bought this mascara becuase of the hype on you tube and becuase it has been compared to Cover Girl's Lash Blast , which i beleive is the number one selling mascara in the USA , correct me if om wrong. First Impressions, the wand is the thickest that i have ever attempted to use and first use I did make a bit of a mess on my bottom lashes, But I have to say it did a really good job of thickening my lashes and making them longer. A downnside would be the formula , it has a tendency to clump after only 2 coats , Meaning you have to religously wiggle the wand with every application to really seperate the lashes or you could have major clumpage. All in all I do really like this mascara and would thoroughly recomend to anyone on a budget as i think it is around 8 or 9 pounds depending where you go.

4) Now this is a bit cheating becuase I only got this on Saturday, but I already love it. It is L'Oreal Teloscopic explosion. I know this is a rip from Givenchy Phenomen'eyes ( I cannot compare becuase I dont own that one) I bougt this becuase I really wanted to try this type of brush but I was'nt sure if I would like it, or even be able to use it succesfully. First impressions are , I really like the idea of being able to grab every single lash and make it go where you want , i've tried various techniques; holding the wand verticly and pushing up, using it liek a conventinal mascara and rolling, andi have to say what ever I seem to do with it it gives the desired effect. I wore it for the whole day on Yesterday and I diddnt notice the curl dropping too significantly and I love the effect tat it gives , very wide eyed and awake, I feel I havent used it enough to give the downsides becuase right now I'm so newly in love I can't find any. This will no doubt change in the near future.
