I could probably spend 10 minutes putting on mascara in the morning , I personally think that your eyes are one of the most important things to get right( that and foundation application) . Even if you not wearing much else if your eyes are done properly you can look stunning. I'm not saying you should apply heaps of the stuff because some people can get away with not wearing any at all . Sadly I am not one of those people(just my opinion). I am easily sold into gimmicky mascaras and I often follow the crowd but I have to say so far it has paid off well.

So my favourite mascaras are:
1) MAC Plush Lash, This is an amazing mascara not only does it lengthen but it thickens aswell and it seprates your lashes beautifully, this is all down to the shape of the brush. What I usually do is start with the thi end right at the base of my lashes , wiggle the wand , roll and pull it up so I finish on the other ,thick, side, I hope that made sense LOL. The bristles are dense and the formulation is able to hold a curl. Finally I have to add the amazing price which is around £10, you cant beat that.

2) Dior Show Blackout, The pigmentation of this Mascara is amazingly black yet I find that it can clump easily. The wand is much thinner then PlushLash, so it does get right in to the base of my lashes and lengthens. I usually use this in the evenings and paired with think cat eyeliner it is a stunning combo.

3) Max Factor False lash effect, I only bought this mascara becuase of the hype on you tube and becuase it has been compared to Cover Girl's Lash Blast , which i beleive is the number one selling mascara in the USA , correct me if om wrong. First Impressions, the wand is the thickest that i have ever attempted to use and first use I did make a bit of a mess on my bottom lashes, But I have to say it did a really good job of thickening my lashes and making them longer. A downnside would be the formula , it has a tendency to clump after only 2 coats , Meaning you have to religously wiggle the wand with every application to really seperate the lashes or you could have major clumpage. All in all I do really like this mascara and would thoroughly recomend to anyone on a budget as i think it is around 8 or 9 pounds depending where you go.

4) Now this is a bit cheating becuase I only got this on Saturday, but I already love it. It is L'Oreal Teloscopic explosion. I know this is a rip from Givenchy Phenomen'eyes ( I cannot compare becuase I dont own that one) I bougt this becuase I really wanted to try this type of brush but I was'nt sure if I would like it, or even be able to use it succesfully. First impressions are , I really like the idea of being able to grab every single lash and make it go where you want , i've tried various techniques; holding the wand verticly and pushing up, using it liek a conventinal mascara and rolling, andi have to say what ever I seem to do with it it gives the desired effect. I wore it for the whole day on Yesterday and I diddnt notice the curl dropping too significantly and I love the effect tat it gives , very wide eyed and awake, I feel I havent used it enough to give the downsides becuase right now I'm so newly in love I can't find any. This will no doubt change in the near future.
